Benefits of LEDs in Corporate Sectors

LED lighting has been in use in the high-end corporate market for some years now, but recent advances in technology have enabled producers to make more powerful LED lightbulbs at lower prices than before.
LEDs use is no longer restricted for boutiques, hotels, designer label stores and exclusive art galleries, but many other businesses and even homeowners are getting habituated by using LED lighting system.
LED light bulbs are made up of groups of LEDs (light emitting diodes) that are arranged in various configurations. While white LEDs are the most common, they are also available in a multitude of colour combinations that produce a wide variety of lighting moods from bright, natural daylight to subdued twilight. Some of the new variants are also dimmable.
The latest LED bulbs come in a variety of shapes, many of them offering a stylish, space-age look that can form part of a distinctive décor. All these high-tech bulbs can be customized, making them especially useful for businesses of all kinds.
While LED lighting requires a larger upfront expenditure than conventional bulbs, its exceptionally long usage period and low energy consumption make this the most economical option in the long term.
An LED light bulb can be expected to give about 50,000 hours of light and has a longer life as compared to compact fluorescent lamp which usually has a lifespan of 8,000 hours while a regular bulb will shine for a mere 1,000 hours.
For this reason, the new generation of LED lamps are solidly constructed and therefore less likely to break than their older equivalents.
